Membership Services Manager
The Membership Services Manager will report to the Associate Director of Recreational Sports for Administrative Services and is a member of the marketing and communications team. The primary role of the Membership Services Manager is to provide leadership and oversight in all aspects of membership services that take place at the McComas Hall administrative office and the McComas Hall service desk. These services include, but are not limited to: point of sale and cash handling operations; membership sales and renewals; program registration; locker and towel rentals; and facility access and eligibility. In this role, the Membership Services Manager will manage a staff of 30-40 students and be in charge of their training, scheduling, and oversight. This position also serves as the departmental payroll technician and maintains all student employee records and files. The Membership Services Manager oversees the opening and closing of the administrative office along with responsibilities to ensure the efficient operation of the office, such as ordering office supplies. All members of the Recreational Sports staff work to advance the department's safety and risk management initiatives in order to create a positive and safe environment; promote the department's mission of health and well-being; and advance the department's commitment to inclusivity to meet the ever-changing needs of a diverse student population.
This position is essential personnel and will be required to work when the university is closed due to inclement weather.
